Thanks for watching this video as I am very busy and I don’t always have the time to explain everything about our Pomeranian puppies by phone.
As you know, a puppy is not a pair of shoes that you can simply exchange in a shop. You will spend 15 years of your life with your pet, so you must have many questions. I will answer most of them here in this video.
You can see testimonials and comments from our clients on our website or on our Facebook page.
In order to get our pet license, I had to pass some exams regarding “puppy care” and accommodation of our puppies is regulated by the Animal Health Inspector. We are an official registered business, which means we pay a lot of taxes, and we have all of the authorizations necessary to make our business legal.
You buy a puppy, you buy a PROBLEM!
The first thing I would like to tell you about purchasing a puppy is that when you buy a puppy, you buy a PROBLEM! It is not a toy. It is an animal, which can get sick or die. It is a lot of responsibility. Veterinary fees can be enormous and we strongly recommend that you think twice before buying a puppy as well as get health insurance for your puppy.
Origin of Pomeranian
The Pomeranian is a type of Spitz dog breed. In Spitz breeds, there are big ones, medium ones, small ones, and dwarf ones. Of the dwarf breeds, some of them have big fur, a small muzzle, and rounded ears; these are called Pomeranians. They look like teddy bears. The famous puppy named “Boo” is a Pomeranian who has been to the groomer. Please be sure you are searching for this particular breed and not another. I don’t want any misunderstandings or disappointment.
The United Kingdom is best known for luxury cars like Rolls Royce, Jaguar, and Bentley. You are also world famous for your marine technology and boats; Great Britain conquered most of the world because of your powerful boats. The United Kingdom might also have some of the best spies, or at least the most famous… but the United Kingdom is not the master of the Pomeranian breed. England is best known for the English bulldog, but not for the Pomeranian. This is just the way it is. It is a fact that you must accept.
It is very easy to verify what I’ve just said. For example, if you search for Chihuahua puppies for sale in the classifieds ads, you will find thousands of adverts. By comparison, if you search for Pomeranian puppies you will only find around 100-200 adverts, many of which are scams and fake Pomeranians.
The best Pomeranian puppies of the world are from North America, Russia, and Asia.
It is very easy to verify that by doing a Google search for “Pomeranian world champion 2016, 2015, 2014”. If you look at the nationality of the world champions for the last 20 years, you will see that they are all from Canada, America, Russia, Thailand, or Korea. None of the champions are British, French, or Spanish.
My company specializes in Pomeranian puppies. We produce only this breed because the friend of my mother-in-law has been in the International Pomeranian competition for the last 20 years and she knows all of the best clubs in the world. Our puppies are all sons, grandsons, great-grandsons, and great-great-grandsons of Club Champions, National Champions, Grand Champions, and International Champions. We have “la crème de la crème” of Pomeranian puppies. This way, we are sure to have Pomeranian dogs in eight generations because without this lineage, it is possible for two Pomeranian dogs to give birth to a small or medium German Spitz puppy, which is bigger and has a longer muzzle.
We don’t sell our puppies before they reach four months of age so that you can see this authenticity because at the age of two months they all have small rounded ears and small muzzles. They are all cute and you fall in love with them, but ten months later as they grow you may realize that you didn’t buy a real Pomeranian. No need worry though because at the age of four months, they are still just the size of my shoe.
Another reason why we sell them at the age of four months is because they are so tiny that it is very risky to get them earlier and they can go in to hypoglycemia crisis. It is also illegal for us to sell them before the age of four months as they need their rabies vaccine and three weeks of quarantine. That is the law.
Administration and documents
Our puppies come from clubs from these countries: USA, Canada, and Russia. Asian countries have fantastic Pomeranians but we don’t work with them.
Be careful! The importation of dogs is highly controlled by customs, Animal Health Inspectors, and veterinary authorities. We must show these authorities the total tracking of the puppy as well as proof of vaccines and good health. This includes the birth certificate, clinical exams, the puppy passport with the electronic chip ID number, rabies vaccines, DHPPI vaccines, tick and ectoparasite treatments, anthelmintic and echinococcosis treatments, and the veterinary certificate of importation.
As highly experienced professionals, we ensure that you get all of the documents above on the day of delivery. In addition, you will receive the puppy contract with sales agreement and invoice, the UK passport, the English certificate of health made by our English veterinarian here in London, and the pedigree export which you will receive couple of months later. This is all outlined in the sales agreement. The delay with the pedigree export is due to the fact that it is from the official FCI Fédération Cynologique Internationale, which is the World Canine Organization and the highest authority in pedigrees. We can’t do it any faster.
Health guarantee
We guarantee that our puppies are healthy on the day of the transaction because they are checked by four veterinarians prior to being placed in your care: the veterinarian of the club, the veterinarian from customs in the country of origin, the veterinarian of British customs at London Heathrow airport, and finally our private English veterinarian from London.
You will get an official health certificate from the veterinarian here in London, which guarantees that the puppy does not have any dangerous diseases.
Select your puppy
Now that we have gone over the process regarding the documents, origin, tracking, pedigree, and health guarantee, I will explain how we can help you choose your puppy.
We send the photos and pricing of available puppies by e-mail 24 hours before we publish ads. You absolutely need to subscribe to our newsletter if you would like to see our available puppies. We send the e-mail only when we have puppies available, so don’t expect to receive the newsletter immediately upon subscribing. Please check your SPAM folder if you don’t see any e-mails from us.
If you like a puppy in our newsletter, you are welcome to view it here in London. If you live too far away, we can arrange for a video chat on Facebook. We will show you the size of the puppy from the front and the profile. This way you can:
- verify that puppy corresponds with the photos from the newsletter and
- validate that you are completely in love with the puppy.
As I mentioned above, you will spend 15 years of your life with your pet, it is not a pair of shoes that you can exchange, so by using the video chat it is impossible to be disappointed on the day of the transaction because you will get exactly what you see in the video chat.
Delivery
Once you select your puppy, we will bring it to you by speed train at one of the main train stations in the UK. We care very much for our puppies; they are like our own babies. We don’t trust professional pet transport companies even if they are serious. That is why we deliver your puppy ourselves. Unfortunately, we don’t have the same logistical tools that a transport company has, so we can’t bring your puppy directly to your home. We will meet in a pub or cafe inside the train station. We will need at least 20 minutes to explain all of the documents that come with the puppy as well as to go over the puppy contract in detail. We also take this time to share some advice and rules to take care of your puppy.
Payment is due on the day of the delivery once you receive your puppy.
Thank you so much for listening. It is very important for you to know all of these details. I hope I answered your questions. Please feel free to contact us 24 hours a day/7days a week.
So now you know how we work. If you don’t like it, that is your right.
See you soon. Bye.
